Committee Member and Kane County resident David Young spoke on Robert F.
Kennedy, Jr.'s nomination to be Secretary of Health and Human Services. He strongly
encouraged everyone to read RFK, Jr.'s book titled "The Real Anthony Fauci." Young
indicated that the Government Accountability Office issued a report in June of 2023
stating that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) contributed more than $1.4M to
Chinese research institutions between 2014 and 2019. Dr. Fauci was the director of the
NIH at this time. Young expressed his suspicions on Dr. Fauci's involvement with these
institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic. He referenced an additional book titled
"Moving Beyond the Covid Lies." The author, Bryan Ardis, provides a link to the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website of a presentation given on October 22,
2020. Young indicated that this presentation is important because the FDA was already
warning people of the negative side effects of the vaccines two months before the
Covid vaccines were given out.
Kane County resident Mary Powell spoke on the Vaccine Reporting System (VAERS).
She stated that this reporting system showing adverse reactions to vaccines is finally
on the Kane County's public health website. However, Powell stated that informed
consent for vaccines is lacking. She requested a link for the Illinois Certificate Religious
Exemption to be added on the immunizations page of the website.

on the H5N1 Avian Influenza or Bird Flu precautions for pets. Younsteadt
indicated that with the increasing number of H5N1 cases in animals nationwide,
Kane County Animal Control is providing residents with precautions to protect
their pets. Additional information has been complied from the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Illinois Department of Public Health
(IDPH), the Illinois Department on Aging (IDOA), and the Illinois Department of
Natural Resources to provide easy access to reliable resources. Younsteadt
recommended to keep pet cats indoors, keep dogs away from areas with
migratory birds, avoid feeding pets raw milk and raw meat products, and watch
out for new pet food recalls. Much discussion ensued.
