New and Unfinished Business  
A.  
Establish the Charges and Goals of the Committee  
Chairman, Corinne Pierog, stated that copies of resumes and voting records for all  
candidates were provided to the Committee Members. She added that a draft of the  
District 9 Search Committee interview questions were also provided for their review.  
She noted that these questions were created specifically for full transparency of all  
matters related to the District 9 Search Committee. There are eight questions along  
with a Kane County Board Appointment Interview scoring sheet, which is directly  
correlated to the eight interview questions. Pierog asked the Committee Members to  
review the questions to prepare for interviewing the candidates.

Executive Session  
The Kane County District 9 Search Ad Hoc Committee went into Executive Session at  
3:45 p.m. to discuss and review the applications for District 9 County Board vacancy on  
a motion made by Roth, seconded by Tarver. Motion carried unanimously by roll call  
vote.

4:50 p.m. on a motion made by Tarver, seconded by Roth. Motion carried unanimously  
by voice vote.

Vote to Approve Candidates to be Interviewed  
Madam Chair, Pierog, entertained a motion and a second to approve the following

Magnussen, and Dennis O'Leary to be interviewed. Motion was made by Roth and  
seconded by Tarver. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.
