Approving a Supplemental Appropriation for Anderson Road Extension, Kane County, Section No. 01-00274-00-BR

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13-271, the Kane County Board previously appropriated the sum of $5,554,500.00 for the Kane County Highway No. 85 (Anderson Road) Extension Project (hereinafter the “Project”); and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation has submitted to the County a final invoice for the Project which invoice brings the County’s total share thereof to $6,289,746.30 which exceeds the previous appropriation and therefore requires an additional appropriation $735,246.30 to complete payment for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board appropriate the additional sum of Seven Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Two Hundred Forty Six and 30/100 Dollars ($735,246.30) from Motor Fuel Tax Fund #302, Line Item #73000 (Road Construction), for a total Project appropriation not to exceed Six Million Two Hundred Eighty Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Six and 30/100 Dollars ($6,289.746.30).
