Approving a License Agreement Permitting Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office to License Office Space in the St. Charles Police Department

WHEREAS, the State’s Attorney has internal control over its office’s procurement; and
WHEREAS, the State’s Attorney requires space for its forensic examiner; and
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Police Department has vacant space; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Charles has agreed to license said vacant space to the State’s Attorney’s forensic examiner in exchange for $1 and access to certain digital forensic services; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the agreed upon license is attached; and
WHEREAS, it is in Kane County’s best interests to approve this license.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board approves the attached agreement and authorizes the Kane County State’s Attorney to execute such agreement with the City of St. Charles for office space in the St. Charles Police Department.
