Authorizing the Creation of a Special Revenue Fund for the Processing of Additional Compensation or Stipends for Certain Elected Officials and Department Heads

WHEREAS, Illinois Public Act 103-0318 now requires that as of July 1, 2023, stipends and additional compensation from the State of Illinois for the Auditor, Coroner, Sheriff, Supervisor of Assessments, and Treasurer are to be deposited into a fund dedicated for that purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board establish the Stipend Fund #020 for the FY 2024 Budget and future budget years.
