AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FROM THE MILL CREEK SSA BUDGET FOR TRADES, LABOR, MATERIALS, AND RELATED SERVICES FOR SIDEWALK TRIP HAZARD REMOVAL WITH PRECISION CONCRETE CUTTING, INC. FOR THE MILL CREEK SPECIAL SERVICE AREA (TIPS CONTRACT# 23010402)

WHEREAS, Kane County Mill Creek SSA is currently in contract with Precision Concrete Cutting, Inc. for Trades, Labor, Materials, and Related Services for Sidewalk Trip Hazard Removal; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 25-253 approves Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) per fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Mill Creek SSA has had additional project needs for Trades, Labor, Material, and Related Services for Sidewalk Trip Hazards Removal as a result of additional trip hazards being reported needing attention; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Mill Creek SSA requests authorization to spend an additional Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) per fiscal year in additional funds for the additional project needs; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds are budgeted and are available in the Mill Creek SSA budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Kane County Mill Creek SSA is hereby authorized to expend up to Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000) with Precision Concrete Cutting, Inc. per fiscal year due to the additional Trades, Labor, Materials, and Related Services for Sidewalk Trip Hazard Removal needs throughout the Kane County Mill Creek SSA.
