Resolution Approving the Purchase of One 96” Toro 7500 Z Master for the Operations Department

WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, finds it is necessary and desirable to purchase one 96” Toro 7500 Z Master for the Operations department; and

WHEREAS, the District utilized the Sourcewell Joint Purchasing Program to secure the lowest prices; and

WHEREAS, Ralph Helm Inc., Elgin, Illinois is the authorized local dealer that has been awarded the Sourcewell contract; and

WHEREAS, utilizing the Sourcewell Purchasing Program has realized a 27% reduction to the MSRP for wide area mowers.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the purchase of one 96” Toro 7500 Z Master wide area mower from Ralph Helm Inc., Elgin, Illinois, for a total cost not to exceed $34,814.39, be, and hereby is, accepted and approved.
