Approving the Purchase of One (1) 2027 Tandem Axle Dump Trailer for the Kane County Division of Transportation

WHEREAS, bids have been solicited and received (BID# 26-012) for One (1) model year 2027 Tandem Axle Dump Trailer (hereinafter the “Trailer”) for the Kane County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, Midwest Trailer Manufacturing, LLC, 2000 Kentville Rd., Kewanee, IL 61443 was the low bidder in the amount of Fifty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Seven and 34/100 Dollars ($58,227.34).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the offer for said Trailer from Midwest Trailer Manufacturing, LLC in the amount of Fifty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Seven and 34/100 Dollars ($58,227.34) is accepted and that the County of Kane purchase said Trailer from Midwest Trailer Manufacturing; payment therefor to be made from the Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #70110 (Machinery and Equipment).
