APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2026 FORD F-250 TRUCK CAB AND BODY FOR THE KANE COUNTY DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION - UNIT 47

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement ("IGA") to procure materials, services, supplies, equipment, construction and construction-related services; and
WHEREAS, Sourcewell solicited bids for Chassis and Cabs with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services; and
WHEREAS, Olathe Fleet, 1845 E. Santa Fe, Olathe, Kansas 66062 was the selected vendor for the Vehicles under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Department of Transportation desires to purchase One (1) model year 2026 Ford F-250 Truck Cab and Body (hereinafter the "Vehicle") through Sourcewell's contract with Olathe Fleet to replace one vehicle at a total cost of Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Five Dollars ($70,405.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the offer for said Vehicle from Olathe Fleet in the amount of Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Five Dollars ($70,405.00) is accepted and that the County of Kane purchase said Vehicle from Olathe Fleet; payment therefor to be made from the Local Option Motor Fuel Tax Fund #304, Line Item #70070 (Automotive Equipment).
