APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION WITH PRECISION PAVEMENT MARKINGS, INC. OF PINGREE GROVE, ILLINOIS FOR 2024 KANE COUNTY URETHANE PAVEMENT MARKING PROGRAM, KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 24-00000-04-GM

WHEREAS, the Kane County Division of Transportation has solicited and received bids for the work described as:
KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 24-00000-04-GM
2024 URETHANE PAVEMENT MARKING PROGRAM
(hereinafter the "Project")
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder for the Project is:
PRECISION PAVEMENT MARKINGS, INC. OF PINGREE GROVE, ILLINOIS
with a low bid of
$790,082.30
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a contract for the Project described hereinabove shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Precision Pavement Markings, Inc. of Pingree Grove, Illinois in the amount as indicated hereinabove and that the County Board Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract and contractor's bond therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that there is hereby appropriated Seven Hundred Ninety Thousand Eight Two and 30/100 Dollars ($790,082.30) from Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #52070 (Repairs and Maintenance - Pavement Marking) to pay for the Project.
