RESOLUTION APPROVING A BID FOR CATTAIL CONTROL AT SIX (6) FOREST PRESERVES
body
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable for the Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois to authorize a bid for control of cattail at portions of six preserves; and
WHEREAS, the District actively restores areas using modern fire suppression, clearing, and chemical treatments of both herbaceous and woody species; and

It quickly forms monotypic stands of itself, at the exclusion of native flora and fauna. Project 1 Aurora West Forest Preserve (19 acres): Bid of $6,650 by Wildlife and Wetlands Solutions, LLC
Project 2 Dick Young Forest Preserve (45 acres): Bid of $15,750 by Wildlife and Wetlands Solutions, LLC
Project 3 Dick Young Forest Preserve (14 acres): Bid of $4,900 by Wildlife and Wetlands Solutions, LLC
