Resolution Approving the 2026 Committee Appointments

WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, is organized and existing under an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois entitled "An Act to Provide for the Creation and Management of Forest Preserve Districts" approved June 27, 1913, as amended:
WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois is governed by the organizational rules of procedure existing under the Organizational Ordinance originally passed on June 9, 1992 and last revised and approved February 10, 2026; and
WHEREAS, as stated in Chapter 5, Section C of said Organizational Ordinance, Appointments made by the President and describe the duties of the standing committees and special committees all in a written report to be furnished to the Commission to be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the 2026 Committee Appointments attached and identified as Exhibit A, shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law, with a consent of a simple majority be and hereby is adopted and approved.
APPROVED AND PASSED on this 14th day of April, 2026.
