Approving the Purchase of Paint Supplies for Roadway Markings for Kane County Division of Transportation

WHEREAS, Quotes have been solicited and received for Paint Supplies for Roadway Markings (hereinafter the “Paint”) for the County’s Division of Transportation through the State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Program; and
WHEREAS, Ingevity with a principal address of 4920 O’Hear Avenue, Suite 400, North Charleston, SC 29405, was the selected Vendor for the Paint under the State Bid CMS (24-416CMS-BOSS4-P-38193), at a total purchase price of Eighty-Six Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($86,175.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the offer for said Paint from Ingevity in the amount of Eighty-Six Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($86,175.00) is accepted and that the County of Kane purchase said Paint from Ingevity; payment therefor to be made from the Local Option Motor Fuel Tax Fund #304, Line Item #60420 (Road Material).
