Resolution Approving the Purchase of Three (3) Ford F-250 Pickup Trucks for the Operations Department and Two (2) Ford F-150 Police Responder Pickup Trucks for the Public Safety Department

WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois finds it necessary and desirable to approve the purchase of two (2) Ford F-250 pickup trucks with snowplows for South Operations, one (1) Ford F-250 pickup truck with snowplow for North Operations, and two (2) Ford F-150 Police Responder pickup trucks for the Public Safety Department; and
WHEREAS, the District utilized the State of Illinois Procurement Contract to secure the lowest bid, awarded to Morrow Brothers Ford, Greenfield, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the purchase price for three Ford F-250 pickup truck is $213,996.00 and two Ford F-150 Police Responder pickup trucks is $126,550.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the purchase of three Ford F-250 pickup trucks with snowplows and two Ford F-150 Police Responder pickup trucks from Morrow Brother Ford, Greenfield, Illinois for a total amount of $340,546.00 be, and hereby is, accepted and approved.
APPROVED AND PASSED on this 14th day of July 2026.
