WHEREAS, the Kane County Division of Transportation has solicited and received bids for the work described as:
KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 26-00571-01-BR
HUGHES ROAD OVER BLACKBERRY CREEK SUPERSTRUCTURE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
(hereinafter the "Project")
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder for the Project is:
D. CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF COAL CITY, ILLINOIS
With a low bid of
$1,066,612.29
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a contract for the Project described hereinabove shall be awarded to the lowest bidder, D. Construction, Inc. of Coal City, Illinois in the amount as indicated hereinabove and that the County Board Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract and contractor's bond therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that there is hereby appropriated One Million Sixty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Twelve and 29/100 Dollars ($1,066,612.29) from Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305, Line Item #73010 to pay for the Project.
