Adopting the Kane County Legislative Agenda for FY2027-2028

WHEREAS, state and federal legislation, appropriations and administrative actions affect Kane County’s finances, services and local decision making; and
WHEREAS, a broad, countywide legislative program identifies shared priorities affecting County services and residents at the State and Federal levels; and
WHEREAS, the FY2027-2028 Kane County Legislative Agenda addresses the 2027-2028 legislative cycle, and establishes general priorities rather than positions on individual bills or legislators; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Board desires to adopt the FY2027-2028 Legislative Agenda, attached as Exhibit A, as the County’s State and Federal legislative program for that period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board that the Kane County FY2027-2028 Legislative Agenda, attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby adopted as the County’s State and Federal legislative program for FY2027-2028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kane County Board may amend or supplement the legislative program during FY2027-2028.
