Resolution Approving the Purchase of One (1) ASV RT-135 Forestry Compact Track Loader for the Natural Resource Management Department

WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable for the Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Illinois, to authorize a purchase of a replacement compact track loader for use by the Natural Resource Management Department; and
WHEREAS, the District solicited bids for an ASV RT-135 Forestry model compact track loader; and
WHEREAS, the lowest qualified bid was received from Chicago Machinery Inc. of Lynwood, IL in the amount of $143,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Illinois, that the purchase of one (1) ASV RT-135 Forestry compact track loader from Chicago Machinery Inc. of Lynwood, IL for a total cost not to exceed $143,500 be, and hereby is, accepted and approved.
