Approving and Authorizing the Termination of Contract for Distribution of Kane County Property Tax Bills

WHEREAS, through RFP #23-002, the County of Kane received sealed proposals for the complete distribution (printing and mailing) of the Kane County property tax bills for the Kane County Treasurer’s Office; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 23-111, the Kane County Treasurer’s Office entered into a five (5) year contract, effective March 24, 2023, with mutual option for three (3) one-year renewal periods, with LRD Systems & Forms for the complete distribution of the Kane County property tax bills (“Contract”); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the Contract, the County may terminate the Contract at any time upon thirty (30) days written notice; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Treasurer’s Office has determined that it is in the best interest of the County to terminate the Contract with LRD Systems & Forms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board approves and authorizes the termination of the aforementioned Contract with LRD Systems & Forms for the complete distribution of the Kane County property tax bills.
