AUTHORIZING THE REPROGRAMMING OF STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY-TWO DOLLARS AND THIRTY CENTS ($6,242.30) FROM THE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH FUNDING BRIDGE ARPA PROJECT FOR ELGIN TOWNSHIP AND THE ELGIN TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH BOARD TO THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT’S SHERIFF’S OFFICE HVAC SYSTEM RENOVATIONS ARPA PROJECT

WHEREAS, by Resolution 24-218, the Kane County Board authorized Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) in State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) for Elgin Township and the Elgin Township Community Mental Health Board's Community Mental Health Funding Bridge ARPA Project; and
WHEREAS, the Community Mental Health Funding Bridge ARPA Project has been completed and has a remaining balance of Six Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Two Dollars and Thirty Cents ($6,242.30); and
WHEREAS, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Committee recommends reprogramming Six Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Two Dollars and Thirty Cents ($6,242.30) from the Community Mental Health Funding Bridge ARPA Project to the Building Management Department's Sheriff's Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board hereby authorizes the reprogramming of Six Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Two Dollars and Thirty Cents ($6,242.30) from the Community Mental Health Funding Bridge ARPA Project to the Building Management Department's Sheriff's Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, a...
