APPROVING A $40,073.00 CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF OPW PETRO VEND 200 FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THE KANE COUNTY DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) to procure materials, services, supplies, equipment, construction and construction-related services; and
WHEREAS, bids have been solicited and received for a Petro Vend 200 Fuel Management System (hereinafter the "Fuel System") for the County's Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, Dover Fueling Solutions, dba, OPW Fuel Management Systems, was the selected Vendor for the Fuel System under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement, at a total purchase price of $40,073.00; and
WHEREAS, Petroleum Technologies Equipment, in Lyons, Illinois, is a local, authorized equipment seller of the Fuel System, and will offer the Fuel System at the Sourcewell member price.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board Chairman is authorized and directed to execute a purchase order for said Fuel System, a copy of which is attached hereto, with Petroleum Technologies Equipment, in Lyons, Illinois, in the amount of Forty Thousand Seventy-Three Dollars ($40,073.00), with payment for said purchase order to be made from the County Highway Fund #300, Line Item #70110 (Machinery and Equipment).
