WHEREAS, the Kane County Division of Transportation has solicited and received bids for the work described as:
KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 22-00552-00-DR
ALLEN ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT
(hereinafter the "Project")
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder for the Project is:
ALLIANCE CONTRACTORS, INC. OF WOODSTOCK, ILLINOIS
With a low bid of
$324,672.93
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a contract for the Project described hereinabove shall be awarded to the lowest bidder, Alliance Contractors, Inc. of Woodstock, Illinois, in the amount as indicated hereinabove and that the County Board Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract and contractor's bond therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that there is hereby appropriated Three Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Two and 93/100 Dollars (324,672.93) from Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305, Line Item #52040 (Repairs and Maintenance - Bridges) to pay for the Project.
