APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH GENUINE PARTS COMPANY, D/B/A NAPA AUTO PARTS OF ATLANTA, GEORGIA FOR NON-OEM AUTO PARTS AND SUPPLIES FOR THE KANE COUNTY DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (“IGA”) for the procurement of goods; and
WHEREAS, Genuine Parts Company d/b/a Napa Auto Parts, with corporate offices located at 2999 Wildwood Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia, 30339, was the selected vendor under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement for the various brands and categories of Non-OEM auto parts necessary for motor vehicles maintained and operated by the Kane County Division of Transportation (“KDOT”).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the prices from Genuine Parts Company d/b/a Napa Auto Parts set forth within Exhibit “A” attached hereto be accepted and approved for the one-year contract term from December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027 with the option of three unilateral one-year contract term extensions in which contract prices shall be paid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board hereby appropriates Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00), from the Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #60330 (Vehicle Parts/Supplies) and Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), from the Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #60360 (Equipment Parts/Supplies) for a total appropriation of One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($105,000.00).
