Authorization to Enter Into a Contract Extension for Audit Services

WHEREAS, the County of Kane procured the professional services of Baker Tilly US, LLP in FY 2024 (RFP #24-051) to audit the County’s financial statements, required supplementary information, the report on Federal awards, and the Circuit Clerk audit beginning with fiscal year ending November 30, 2024 with the option to renew annually for four additional one-year periods; and
WHEREAS, the cost for the contract extension for audit services for fiscal year ending November 30, 2025 per the original contract is $135,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Chairman thereof is authorized to enter into a one-year contract with Baker Tilly, Oak Brook, IL for the provision of audit services with the mutual option to renew annually for three additional one year periods.
