Authorizing Additional Funds from FY2024 Budget for Mill Creek SSA Brush Pick-Up Services with Trees "R" Us (BID# 02-020)

WHEREAS, Kane County is currently in contract with Trees “R” Us per Resolution No. 24-106 (BID# 02-020); and
WHEREAS, the price for brush pick-up services has increased to $10,397.49 per pick-up; and
WHEREAS, the County requests authorization of an additional One Thousand Two Hundred and Eighty-Five Dollars and Ninety-Eight Cents ($1,285.98) for Fiscal Year 2024 bringing the total to $31,192.47; and
WHEREAS, the overage was due to a price increase of 4.3% by Trees “R” Us; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds are budgeted and are available in the FY2024 Mill Creek SSA operating budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that Mill Creek SSA is hereby authorized to expend up to Thirty-One Thousand One Hundred and Ninety-Two Dollars and Forty-Seven Cents ($31,192.47) for brush pick-up services with Trees “R” Us for Fiscal Year 2024.
