AUTHORIZING RE-PROGRAMMING OF $40,000 (FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS) FROM COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH FUNDING BRIDGE ARPA PROJECT TO THE DRAINAGE COST-SHARE CONSULTANT AND CAPITAL ARPA PROJECT AND APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH HAMPSHIRE TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 24-218, the Kane County Board authorized the use of $500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Dollars) of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds for the Community Mental Health Funding Bridge Project; and
WHEREAS, the Community Mental Health Bridge Project is being completed under budget; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 23-231, the Kane County Board approved using State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to fund the Drainage Cost Share Consultant and Capital Project for the Kane County Environmental & Water Resources Department; and
WHEREAS, as part of that project, by Resolution No. 24-508, the Kane County Board approved and authorized the Kane County Board Chairman to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement with HAMPSHIRE TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT for the MARNEY AND KELLY AND THE KELLEY OFF-SITE DRAINAGE projects; and
WHEREAS, by resolution 26-196, the Kane County Board approved a FIRST Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement with HAMPSHIRE TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT for the MARNEY AND KELLY AND THE KELLEY OFF-SITE DRAINAGE projects; and
WHEREAS, the Hampshire Township Road District has identified an additional $40,000 (Forty Thousand Dollars) of costs that are associated with the MARNEY AND KELLY AND THE KELLEY OFF-SITE DRAINAGE projects that may be eligible for reimbursement with State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds; and
WHEREAS, the American Rescue Plan Act Committee recommends re-programming the $40,000 (FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS) from the Community Mental Health Funding Bridge Project to the Drainage Cost Share Consultant and Capital Project; and
