APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH BYRNE SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. OF CHESTERFIELD, MISSOURI FOR PERMIT SOFTWARE AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES, KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 21-00530-00-MS

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 21-304, the County of Kane (the "County") approved a Permit Software and Implementation Services Agreement (the "Agreement") with Byrne Software Technologies, Inc. and appropriated Two Hundred Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Seven Dollars ($216,957.00), (the "appropriation"); and
WHEREAS, additional implementation services as set forth in the Agreement's scope of work are desired by the County for the successful completion of various County projects; and
WHEREAS, in order to address the need for the additional implementation services, the County desires to amend the Agreement, (the "Amendment"), (a copy of which Amendment is on file in the office the Kane County Clerk) by extending the term thereof until December 31, 2026 and increasing the appropriation of the cost of implementation services by $40,744.52; and
WHEREAS, it is in the County's best interest to extend the upper limit of the appropriation as set forth in the Agreement by an additional Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Four and 52/100 Dollars ($40,744.52) from a total of $216,957.00 to $257,701.52.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Amendment of the Agreement with Byrne Software Technologies, Inc. is hereby approved and that the Chairman thereof is hereby authorized to execute the Amendment along with any other documents for the Agreement as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is hereby appropriated the sum of Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Four and 52/100 Dollars ($40,744.52) from County Highway Fund #300, Line Item #70020 (Computer Software - Capital) for a total appropriation for the Agreement and its Amendment not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Se...
