Resolution Authorizing the Grant of Utility Easements for Sanitary and Water Service at 1260, 1262, and 1264 Cedar Avenue, Elgin, IL

WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois and Paul W. Sommer Trust desire to enter into an easement agreement for the installation of a new Sanitary and Water Service at the Fox River Trail Forest Preserve in Elgin, IL; and
WHEREAS, the Paul W. Sommer Trust is the property owner of 1260, 1262 and 1264 Cedar Avenue, Elgin IL; and
WHEREAS, Paul W. Sommer Trust is requesting a permanent easement that will allow for the installation and continued maintenance of sanitary and water service for the properties; and
WHEREAS, the Paul W. Sommer Trust will pay a one-time fee of $5,000.00 for the easement rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the easement agreement attached hereto and made part hereof is hereby approved and that the President and Secretary of the District, be, and hereby are authorized to execute on behalf of the District.
