Approving a Bottled Water Delivery Services Contract with DS Services of America, Inc., dba Primo Water North America of Tampa, Florida for a Countywide Bottled Water Delivery Program (BID# 24-018-TK)

WHEREAS, Bids were solicited (Bid 24-018-TK) and received by the Kane County Purchasing Department for a bottled water delivery service for Kane County; and
WHEREAS, DS Services of America, Inc. dba Primo Water North America of Tampa, FL was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the bottled water delivery service program, as per bid specifications; and
WHEREAS, this is a two (2) year contract and shall be in effect from April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2026, or upon approval by the Kane County Board with an option for possible three (3) additional one-year renewal periods; all costs shall be firm and guaranteed for the duration of the initial two (2) year contract, and
WHEREAS, County offices are responsible for setting up services, bottled water and dispensers shall be delivered on an as-needed basis,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the agreement for Bottled Water Delivery Services is hereby approved and the Chairman thereof is hereby authorized to execute a two (2) year contract with DS Services of America, Inc. dba Primo Water North America for the delivery of a countywide bottled water services program at an annual cost of ($31,913.40) with an option for three (3) one-year extensions. Funding shall be paid from the General Fund #001, Line Item #60000 (Office Supplies) by the Kane County Purchasing Department, and various other funds across the County that purchase from this contract.
