Resolution Approving a Payment to Rush Truck Center for a Tariff Surcharge for a 2026 International Hv607

WHEREAS, a manufacturer tariff-driven surcharge was applied to a District purchase of a 2026 International HV607 truck, at a cost of $2,000; and
WHEREAS, the District was unaware of the surcharge amount at time of approval; and
WHEREAS, the vehicle has been received and placed in-service; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable for the Forest Preserve Commission to authorize payment for the tariff-driven surcharge on PO# 2026-02, Resolution #FP-R-25-07-3164.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the surcharge payment of $2,000 for PO# 2026-02, RES #FP-R-25-07-3164, with Rush Truck Center, Springfield, Illinois be, and hereby is, accepted and approved.
