APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO ACCEPT PLANNING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES DELIVERED BY THE CHICAGO METROPOLITAN AGENCY FOR PLANNING

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 22-435, the County of Kane (the "County") approved a resolution to accept Planning Technical Assistance Services (the "Intergovernmental Agreement") with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and appropriated One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), (the "appropriation"); and
WHEREAS, additional services as set forth in the Intergovernmental Agreement's scope of work are desired by the County for the successful completion of various County projects; and
WHEREAS, in order to address the need for the additional implementation services, the County desires to amend the Intergovernmental Agreement, (the "Amendment"), (a copy of which Amendment is on file in the office the Kane County Clerk) by increasing the appropriation of the cost of planning technical assistance services ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the County's best interest to extend the upper limit of the appropriation as set forth in the Agreement by an additional Thirty Four Thousand Five Dollars ($34,500.00) from a total of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to One Hundred Thirty Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($134,500.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Amendment of the Agreement with CMAP is hereby approved and that the Chairman thereof is hereby authorized to execute the Amendment along with any other documents for the Intergovernmental Agreement as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that there is hereby appropriated the sum of Thirty Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($34,500.00) from Transportation Sales Tax Fund #305, Line Item #50140 (Engineering) for a total appropriation for the Intergovernmental Agreement and its Amendment not to exceed One Hundred Thirty Four ...
