Adopting a Tax Levy for the General Fund

WHEREAS, the exact increase in rate setting EAV will not be available until after the deadline for the County to establish the property tax levy; and
WHEREAS, it is permitted for the property tax levy rate to be adjusted downward at the time the levy is extended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Board of the County of Kane, State of Illinois, at this adjourned session of the August meeting of said County Board, held at the Government Center in Geneva, Kane County, Illinois that there be and there is hereby levied upon all taxable property within the County of Kane, the sum of:
THIRTY-NINE MILLION NINE HUNDRED NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY-THREE DOLLARS ($39,909,693)
