Resolution Authorizing the Granting of an Agricultural Access Easement Across the Great Western Trail In Virgil Township

WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, and the Steven R. Pitstick Trust desire to enter into an agricultural access easement agreement across the Great Western Trail in Virgil Township, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Steven R. Pitstick Trust is the property owner of agricultural property adjacent to the Great Wester Trail; and
WHEREAS, the adjacent property has utilized the access path as its sole ingress and egress to the property, prior to the District’s ownership of the Great Western Trail; and
WHEREAS, the Steven R. Pitstick Trust is requesting to formalize the agricultural access with a dedicated and recorded easement; and
WHEREAS, the Steven R. Pitstick Trust will pay a one-time fee of $5,000 for the easement rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the easement agreement attached hereto and made part hereof is hereby approved, and that the President and Secretary of the District be, and hereby are, authorized to execute on behalf of the District.
