AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 25-244 TO AUTHORIZE A SUPPLEMENTAL MOTOR FUEL TAX EXPENDITURE FOR PHASE III ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH HAMPTON, LENZINI AND RENWICK, INC. FOR THE PLATO TOWNSHIP ROAD DISTRICT MUIRHEAD ROAD OVER CANADIAN NATIONAL RAILROAD PROJECT, SECTION NO. 17-12082-01-BR

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 25-244, the County of Kane approved Plato Township’s use of Twenty-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars ($25,932) in the Plato Township Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Fund for Phase III construction engineering services associated with the Muirhead Road over Canadian National Railroad Project, Section No. 17-12082-01-BR (the “Project”), representing the township’s local share; and
WHEREAS, eligible engineering costs are paid up front from the Plato Township MFT Fund, with applicable federal and state reimbursements credited back to the Plato Township MFT Fund upon receipt; and
WHEREAS, an additional Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($298,219) is required to fund the remaining Phase III construction engineering services under the agreement with Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of the Phase III construction engineering services is Three Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand One Hundred Fifty-One Dollars ($324,151).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that Resolution No. 25-244 is hereby amended to authorize an additional Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($298,219) in Plato Township Motor Fuel Tax funds for Phase III construction engineering services for the Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($298,219) be allocated from the Township Motor Fuel Tax Fund for payment of services performed by Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc., for the work described in the Request for Expenditure/Authorization of Motor Fuel Tax Funds (BLR...
