AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF ORTHO/OBLIQUE IMAGERY

WHEREAS, the County of Kane intends to continue efforts to maintain accurate, reliable, and up-to-data geographical data; and
WHEREAS, Ortho Imagery gives a clear view of property straight down and Oblique Imagery gives clear images of properties at an angle from East, West, North and South sides; and
WHEREAS, bids have been solicited for the Oblique Imagery (BID# 25-019-TK). A total of three (3) bids were received by the April 22, 2025 deadline; and
WHEREAS, the responsive and responsible bidder for Pictometry Internal Corporation, dba EagleView - Rochester, NY for an amount of Seven Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($746,550); and
WHEREAS, Flights as follows: Spring 2026, 2028, 2030, 1" ortho and 1" oblique imagery capture: Payments as follows One Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Fifty dollars. ($124,525) per year starting FY2026 and last payment FY2031; and
WHEREAS, this contract calls for the use of funds beyond the present budget year and the County of Kane acknowledges the necessity of the appropriation of such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board that the Chairman thereof is authorized and directed to enter into contract with Pictometry Internal Corporation, dba EagleView - Rochester, NY for an amount not to exceed Seven Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($746,550) payments over the next 6 budget years in the amount of One Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Fifty dollars. ($124,525).
