APPROVING FY2026 COUNTY MAINTENANCE MOTOR FUEL TAX APPROPRIATION, KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 26-00000-00-GM

WHEREAS, the County of Kane ("County") through the Kane County Division of Transportation ("KDOT") is responsible for the maintenance of the Kane County Highway System in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Highway Code of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (605 ILCS 5/1-101, et seq); and
WHEREAS, Four Million Seven Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars ($4,745,267.00) in Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Funds is required to pay for the County's Highway General Maintenance program (Section #26-00000-00-GM) in fiscal year 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the County Highway General Maintenance program, referred to as Section #26-00000-00-GM, shall be conducted in conformance with the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code and will follow the procedures and guidelines as stated within the Illinois Department of Transportation's Circular Letters and Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Process during fiscal year 2026 beginning December 1, 2025 and ending November 30, 2026.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that Four Million Seven Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars ($4,745,267.00) is hereby appropriated from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund #302 for Section #25-00000-00-GM; said sum being comprised of:
