AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH MCGRATH HUMAN RESOURCES GROUP FOR EXTERNAL COMPENSATION ANALYSIS AND REVIEW OF POSITION GRADING

WHEREAS, the Kane County Board has requested an external compensation analysis for non-union employees governed by the Compensation Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County Board endeavors to pay a competitive wage comparative to nearby government agencies and requires independent external research to determine competitiveness of wages; and
WHEREAS, Request for Proposal (RFP) 24-050 was issued soliciting an external compensation analysis for non-union employees and review current position grading from qualified companies; and
WHEREAS, McGrath Human Resources Group responded to RFP 24-050, presented information regarding its services, capabilities and expertise in the compensation analysis and is deemed the most qualified company; and
WHEREAS, a proposed contract of services in the amount of Eighty-Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($87,875) is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Human Resource Department is hereby authorized to contract McGrath Human Resources Group for services providing an External Compensation Analysis and review position grading for Eighty-Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($87,875).
