AWARDING REAL ESTATE BROKER SERVICES TO JONES LANG LASALLE AMERICAS, INC.

WHEREAS, Kane County has a need for professional real estate broker services to assist in the acquisition, leasing, and potential sale of properties to address the growing demands of its various departments; and
WHEREAS, the County issued Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 24-043 seeking qualified brokers to provide these services; and
WHEREAS, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. has been identified as the most qualified respondent to provide the required real estate broker services based on their proposal and subsequent evaluation by the County's selection committee; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Kane County to award the contract for real estate broker services to Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the contract for real estate broker services in response to RFQ 24-043 be awarded to Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Kane County Board is authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. for the provision of real estate broker services as specified in RFQ 24-043 and the proposal submitted by Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is authorized to represent the County in real estate transactions and is directed to work with County staff to investigate suitable properties and make offers subject to appropriate contingencies, including but not limited to, satisfactory completion of due diligence, and final approval by the County Board.
