Ratifying an Emergency Purchase Affidavit for Contractual Services with MGT Impact Solutions, LLC for Workforce Development Fiscal Manager Position

WHEREAS, the Workforce Development Department is in the process of hiring a full-time permanent Fiscal Manager; and
WHEREAS, the monthly Federal and State compliance, accounting, and financial reporting requirements necessitate the needs for a full-time permanent Fiscal Manager; and
WHEREAS, MGT Impact Solutions, LLC is able to provide a consultant to perform the duties of the Fiscal Manager position starting on June 16, 2025, until such time as Workforce Development can find and hire a Fiscal Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Kane County procurement ordinance allows for an emergency purchase under Section 2-217.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board that the Emergency Purchase Affidavit, submitted by the Kane County Workforce Development Department and authorized by the County Board Chairman, is hereby ratified for the contract with MGT Impact Solutions, LLC in the amount of Forty-Four Thousand Dollars ($44,000).
