Authorizing Number of Procurement Cards Issued to the Auditor’s Office and Each of Their Transaction Limits

WHEREAS, the Kane County Board approved resolution #22-21 on January 11, 2022 amending the Kane County Financial Policies regarding the use and administration of Kane County procurement cards; and
WHEREAS, the amended Financial Policies regarding procurement cards now require each department head to obtain the advice and consent of their standing committee regarding the number of procurement cards issued to their department and the single and monthly transaction limits set for each card; and
WHEREAS, the amended Financial Policies regarding procurement cards now require the number of procurement cards issued and the transaction limits established for each cardholder to be reviewed annually by the standing committee to which the cardholder’s elected official reports as well as by the Finance Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Finance Committee that the attached list of procurement cards and their single and monthly transaction limits have been reviewed and are hereby approved; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Finance Committee that the temporary increases to the single and monthly transaction limits as specified for each procurement card are also approved in advance.
