Resolution Approving Revisions to the Employee Handbook 2026

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, established and adopted an Employee Handbook detailing personnel policies and procedures for the employees of the District on July 8, 1980; and
WHEREAS, said handbook has, from time to time, been revised by the Commission, and remains in effect to this date; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be necessary to revise the Employee Handbook to keep current and to conform to currently accepted employee procedures, newly adopted legislation, or clarification of existing policies; and
WHEREAS, a current and updated Employee Handbook has been developed to meet the needs of the employees and the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Kane County, Illinois, that the Employee Handbook, attached and identified as Exhibit A, be, and hereby is approved and adopted.
