Budget Adjustment to Reclassify Budgeted Expenses into New Subdepartment Code

WHEREAS, the 2026 Budget appropriated Grand Victoria Casino funds for the Finance Department’s Grant Administrator; and
WHEREAS, when the 2026 budget was adopted the general ledger account codes used to track the salaries and benefits of the Grant Administrator’s expenses in the Grand Victoria Casino Fund #120 are codes associated with the Grant Victoria Casino fund and should more appropriately by associated with the Finance Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a new sub-department code be used in the Grand Victoria Casino Fund #120 to track the costs of the Grant Administrator and that the original budgeted amounts for the Grant Administrator in the Grand Victoria Casino Fund #120 be reclassified into the new sub-department codes as follows:
