APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) PALMA 720T BOOM MOWER FOR THE KANE COUNTY DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION

WHEREAS, pursuant to Kane County Resolution No. 22-266, the County of Kane and Sourcewell entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) to procure materials, services, supplies, equipment, construction and construction-related services; and
WHEREAS, bids have been solicited and received for one (1) Palma 720T Boom Mower (hereinafter the "Mower") for the County's Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, Roc-Pit Equipment, 2N118 Pouley Rd. Elburn, Illinois 60119, was the selected Vendor for the Mower under the Sourcewell authorized cooperative agreement, at a total purchase price of Seventy-Five Thousand Five Hundred Four Dollars ($75,504.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the offer for said Loader from Roc-Pit Equipment in the amount of Seventy-Five Thousand Five Hundred Four Dollars ($75,504.00) is accepted and that the County of Kane purchase said Mower from Roc-Pit Equipment payment therefor to be made from the Motor Fuel Local Option Fund #304, Line Item #70110 (Machinery and Equipment), and that the Kane County Board Chairman is authorized to execute any documents related to and necessary for this purchase.
