APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH STANLEY CONSULTANTS, INC. OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS FOR PHASE III CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR RANDALL ROAD AT ILLINOIS ROUTE 72 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT, KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 19-00514-00-WR

WHEREAS, Phase III Construction Engineering Services are necessary for the Randall Road at Illinois Route 72 Intersection Improvement Project (hereinafter referred to as "Project"); and
WHEREAS, in order to complete the Project, it is necessary to retain the services of a professional engineering firm to perform the Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the Project; and
WHEREAS, Stanley Consultants, Inc. 8501 W. Higgins Road, Suite 730, Chicago, Illinois has environmental engineering and professional expertise and experience, and is willing to perform the Phase III Construction Engineering Services for an amount not to exceed One Million Thirty Thousand Thirty-Seven 46/100 Dollars ($1,030,037.46); and
WHEREAS, it is in the County's best interest to enter into a Phase III Construction Engineering Services agreement with Stanley Consultants, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Chairman thereof is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement (a copy of which is on file with the County Clerk's Office) with Stanley Consultants, Inc. for Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the Project.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board appropriate an amount not to exceed the sum of One Million Thirty Thousand Thirty-Seven 46/100 Dollars ($1,030,037.46); to pay for Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the Project and those said funds be paid from North Impact Fees Fund #558, Line Item # 50140 (Engineering Services).
