Authorizing a Countywide Toner Cartridges Contract with Innovating Printing Systems, Inc. (BID# 26-058-TL)

WHEREAS, the Kane County Purchasing Department solicited bids (BID# 26-058-TL) for the County’s toner cartridges contract, and a total of nineteen (19) bid responses were received; and
WHEREAS, staff, after thoroughly reviewing all responses per contract requirements, determined that it is in the best interest of the County to accept and award the contract for toner cartridges to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Innovative Printing Systems Inc; and
WHEREAS, this is a two (2) year contract, an all-inclusive, as-needed purchase program with a mutual option for three (3) one-year renewal periods.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute a two (2) year contract for toner cartridges, with mutual options for three (3) additional one-year renewals, with Innovative Printing Systems Inc, of Schwenskville, Pennsylvania.
