Resolution Approving the Purchase of One (1) John Deere 6M 115 Cab Tractor for the Natural Resource Management Department

WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable for the Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Illinois, to authorize a purchase of a replacement tractor for use by the Natural Resource Management Department; and
WHEREAS, the District utilized the Sourcewell Joint Purchasing Program to secure a 24% reduction to the MSRP for the tractor; and
WHEREAS, the local authorized John Deere Dealer is AHW of Hampshire, IL; and
WHEREAS, the purchase price is $138,640.72.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Illinois, that the purchase of one (1) John Deere 6M 115 Cab Tractor from AHW of Hampshire, IL for a total cost not to exceed $138,640.72 be, and hereby is, accepted and approved.
