APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH WORKDAY ADAPTIVE PLANNING OF PLEASONTON, CALIFORNIA FOR ACCESS TO AND USE OF DATA ANALYTICS AND BUDGETING/FORECASTING SOFTWARE

WHEREAS, a software solution is necessary to support the Kane County Division of Transportation's ability to efficiently provide for project and fund-based financial analysis and reporting, cash flow analysis, and multi-year budgeting and forecasting; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to purchase access to a software solution including professional implementation services therefor; and
WHEREAS, Workday Adaptive Planning, 6110 Stoneridge Mall Road, Pleasanton, California 94588, recognized as a leader in the data analytics and budgeting software marketplace, is willing to provide the software solution and associated implementation support for a three year term in an amount not to exceed One Hundred and One Thousand Dollars ($101,000.00) as set forth in the proposed subscription and professional implementation services contract with Workday Adaptive Planning (a copy of which is on file with the County Clerk's Office).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Chairman thereof is hereby authorized to execute a subscription and professional implementation services contract with Workday Adaptive Planning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kane County Board appropriate the sum of One Hundred and One Thousand Dollars ($101,000.00) to be paid from the County Highway Fund #300, Line Item #70020 (Computer Software - Capital) to pay for said software solution and implementation support.
