APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH V3 COMPANIES, LTD. OF WOODRIDGE, ILLINOIS FOR PHASE III CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE BUNKER ROAD EXTENSION, KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 14-00275-01-PV

WHEREAS, phase III construction engineering services are necessary for the Bunker Road Extension Project (hereinafter referred to as "Project"); and
WHEREAS, in order to complete the Project, it is necessary to retain the services of a professional engineering firm to perform the phase III construction engineering services for the Project; and
WHEREAS, V3 Companies, Ltd., 7325 Janes Avenue, Suite 100, Woodridge, Illinois has engineering, professional expertise and experience and is willing to perform the phase III construction engineering services for an amount not to exceed $1,683,644.45; and
WHEREAS, it is in the County's best interest to enter into a phase III construction engineering services agreement with V3 Companies, Ltd.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Chairman thereof is hereby authorized to execute an agreement (a copy of which is on file with the County Clerk's Office) with V3 Companies, Ltd. for phase III construction engineering services for the Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kane County Board appropriate the not to exceed sum of One Million Six Hundred Eighty-Three Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Four and 45/100 Dollars ($1,683,644.45) to pay for phase III construction engineering services for the Project and that said funds be paid from Fund No. Central Impact Fees Fund #559, Line Item #50140 (Engineering Services).
