Authorizing the Reprogramming of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the Amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Forty-One Cents (3,549.41) from the Building Management Department’s Kitchen and Laundry Area Improvements at the Kane County Justice Center ARPA Project to the Environmental and Water Resources Department’s Ogden Gardens Water Service ARPA Project

WHEREAS, by Resolutions 24-176, 24-510, 25-102, 26-092, 26-093, and 26-096, the Kane County Board authorized One Million Five Hundred Thirty-Eight Thousand One Hundred Eleven Dollars and Forty-Seven Cents ($1,538,111.47) in State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) for the Building Management Department’s Kitchen and Laundry Area Improvements at the Kane County Justice Center ARPA Project; and
WHEREAS, the Kitchen and Laundry Area Improvements at the Kane County Justice Center ARPA Project is being completed and has a remaining balance of Twenty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars and Forty-Seven Cents ($28,754.47); and
WHEREAS, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Committee recommends reprogramming Three Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Forty-One Cents ($3,549.41) from the Building Management Department’s Kitchen and Laundry Area Improvements at the Kane County Justice Center ARPA Project to the Environmental and Water Resources Department’s Ogden Gardens Water Service ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board hereby authorizes the reprogramming of Three Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Forty-One Cents ($3,549.41) from the Building Management Department’s Kitchen and Laundry Area Improvements at the Kane County Justice Center ARPA Project to the Environmental and Water Resources Department’s Ogden Gardens Water Service ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
