Approving a Contract for Construction with Builders Paving, LLC of Hillside, Illinois for the 2026 Kane County Resurfacing Project, Kane County Section No. 25-00591-00-RS

WHEREAS, the Kane County Division of Transportation has solicited and received bids for the work described as:
KANE COUNTY SECTION NO. 25-00591-00-RS
2026 KANE COUNTY RESURFACING PROJECT
(hereinafter the “Project”)
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder for the Project is:
BUILDERS PAVING, LLC OF HILLSIDE, ILLINOIS
with a low bid of
$10,787,000.88
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that a contract for the Project described hereinabove shall be awarded to the lowest bidder, Builders Paving, LLC of Hillside, Illinois in the amount as indicated hereinabove and that the County Board Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract and contractor’s bond therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that there is hereby appropriated Ten Million Seven Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand and 88/100 Dollars ($10,787,000.88) from Motor Fuel Tax Fund #302, Line Item #52080 (Repairs and Maint - Resurfacing) to pay for the Project
