Authorizing the Reprogramming of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the Amount of Seventy-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($77,997.50) from the Kane County Health Department’s Addressing Behavioral Health Needs of Kane County Residents ARPA Project to the Building Management Department’s Sheriff’s Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project

WHEREAS, by Resolution 23-497, the Kane County Board authorized Nine Million Nine Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($9,975,000) for the Kane County Health Department's Addressing Behavioral Health Needs of Kane County Residents ARPA Project; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 24-387, the Kane County Board authorized the Kane County Health Department to award Two Hundred Ten Thousand Six Hundred Thirteen Dollars and Ninety-Six Cents ($210,613.96) to Elgin Community Crisis Center and to execute Beneficiary Agreement No. 44519924(24); and
WHEREAS, Beneficiary Agreement No. 44519924(24) with Elgin Community Crisis Center has a remaining balance of Seventy-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Dollars and Sixty-Five Cents ($78,370.65); and
WHEREAS, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Committee recommends reprogramming Seventy-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($77,997.50) of the remaining balance from Beneficiary Agreement No. 44519924(24) to the Building Management Department's Sheriff's Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kane County Board hereby authorizes the reprogramming of Seventy-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($77,997.50) from the remaining balance of Beneficiary Agreement No. 44519924(24) to the Building Management Department's Sheriff's Office HVAC System Renovations ARPA Project, to be spent during the ARPA period of performance and in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Final Rule and related guidance issued by the United States Department of the Treasury, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
